COCD Seeks Bilingual Urban Farming Trainers

Do you love urban farming? In collaboration with the United States Department of Agriculture Risk Management Agency, COCD is recruiting part-time bilingual urban farming trainers.

To ensure effective engagement in the Train-the-Trainer initiative, participants must have a good command of English and one of the following native languages: Bhutanese, Dari, Spanish, Pashto, Russian, Arabic, or Haitian Creole. 

Successful candidates will receive training on working with adult learners, immigrants and risk management agricultural practices. Once trained, candidates will train and support groups of potential farmers in an 18-month grant.
