After School Program
Majority of the times, children of refugees and immigrants experience hurdles in their learning when they arrive to the U.S. Children are commonly placed in school according to their ages without regards to their abilities. Most children of refugees and immigrants have had gaps in their education due to poor quality education or inconsistent learning. These children cannot learn adequately because of their language barrier, the absence of a solid school system, and the language barrier of their parents. This After School Program is designed to help children catch up with learning in key subjects so they are able to be on the same educational level as their peers.
