After School Program

In most cases, children of refugees and immigrants experience hurdles in their learning when they arrive to the U.S. These children are commonly placed in schools according to their age, without regards to their abilities. Most children of refugees and immigrants have had gaps in their education due to poor quality education or inconsistent learning. These children cannot learn adequately because of the language barrier, the absence of a solid school system, and the language barrier of their parents. This After School Program will provide a more personalized style of education to help each child catch up with learning in key subjects so they are able to be on the same educational level as their peers.
